A beautiful city, Bengalooru is one of the most culturally
diversified city in our
country. Founded & constructed by the emperor “Kempe Gowda” (Picture
shown below is his sculpture).
This vacation was spent in Bengalooru with hot summer, Arguing
with an angry BMTC bus conductor & with the heavy traffic. It took one whole day
to travel from Kengeri to Electronic city as well as to Whitefield. Seeing MG
Road became a desert.
In the name of Metro all the beautiful big trees
were chopped, Which were on the opposite side of the MG road, Those used to
give a pleasant air to the people who used to hangout & walk on the MG
road. Now the Garden city became one of the most overcrowded place in the
country it’s because of the 1000’s of industries equipped in this city &
none of them are contributing in building the nature & beauty of the city I
think it’s just not to blame the Govt but it’s every industry & citizen’s
responsibility to save the beauty of the Bengalooru.
Who is making the Bengalooru as unlivable ?
Who is making the Bengalooru as unlivable ?
- Farmers who gave their entire golden fields to construct your corporate offices ?
- Or A chai wala who works day & night in his tea stall to sell the tea nearby your big buildings ?.
- Or are the middle class people like us ?.
Now the Garden city became one of the most overcrowded
place in the country it’s because of the 1000’s of industries equipped in this
city & none of them are contributing in building the nature & beauty of
the city I think it’s just not to blame the Govt but it’s every industry's &
citizen’s responsibility to save the beauty of the Bengalooru. With the growing
population in this city Govt alone cannot battle the game to scrutinize what
needs to be done.
Most importantly the corporate companies & builders need to
work with Govt in Designing & Architecting the city rather constructing the
buildings randomly. Just planting the tree & pouring the water on a
“World Earth Day” is not enough but corporate companies to plant the trees on
either the sides of the roads & to adopt the trees as well as parks for 10
to 20 years. If they’ve a strong environmental strategy & ready to spend
their own money for this, Govt would never reject for this social cause. People
would’ve blamed Modi Saab for this as well but they wouldn’t get a chance to
blame since Modiji led Govt is not in ruling at Karnataka.
New companies & startups must contribute to this. Those
shouldn’t just focus towards creating the business ecosystem but also to focus towards providing the basic
needs of the society. Obviously when a new company or a startup comes into
picture the new office premise & commercial building spaces are required to
be built, To build these buildings Garden city lakes & Green Parks were
converted in to the sky touching apartments.
5 to 7 years ago all the big trees were chopped, National Highway road
was broaden & elevated toll way was built at Hosur Road & Electronic
City to Chandpur, Attibele. Industries used this city like a bubble
gum (Chewing Gum).
I think now only those two big parks are left –Cubbon Park & Lalbagh, went to Cubbon park to catch a journalist friend he said there is a tight security arranged by Govt to save these parks, But not sure how much true it is.
There is a lot much to learn from another City - Mysore, You
wouldn’t find a single MNC in this city but you would find only small IT chunks
except the Infosys which they’ve here is Training and Development Center
& not the actual IT Division. Mysoreans do not want to spoil their Brand
Heritage & City Architecture hence is it named as a “Cultural capital
of Karnataka”.
Now few of the IT giants from Bengalooru are looking forward to
build their sub offices in North Karnataka & Infosys has already started
constructing their building at Hublli. Govt has already strategised to
construct an International Airport at Hublli & Hublli-Dharwad are going to
be the next IT Hubs in Karnataka only thing we would beg them is pls do not
spoil the beauty of these both the twin cities.
But one thing the corporate companies to keep in mind is that,
There’re lots of pending issues in regards to the farmers at "North Karnataka" there is a long pending issue from last 10 to 15 years “Kalasa-Banduri Nala
project” if this project is implemented it is going to be a greatest advantage
in solving the water problems for South Maharashtra, North Karnataka & Goa
Farmers unless this is resolved North Karnataka people don’t even let any
corporate companies to function there. Corporate companies to think on how can
they help people & farmers at this region despite of gaining their business
advantage.
